Getting Started
Do I need an account?
No account to create with SparkRecall. You pay via Shopify and your notes link to your WhatsApp number and email automatically. That's it.
How do I save notes?
Text SparkRecall like you would a friend - just shorter and more factual.
Short informative notes. Did we say short?
Save what matters about people, relationships, or life.
Can I save multiple notes about the same person / project/ place?
Yes. Keep adding everything you deem important.
It collates then when you need them back, instantly.
Over time—months, years—the picture gets richer. It builds up.
How It Works
Does SparkRecall use AI?
No. It stores your notes and returns them via word association only—no content generation or assumptions on your behalf.
How do I search?
Search by any word or detail linked to your memory—a name, a place, an event.
Try another angle if needed. It works through association.
You search notes with a ?word, and it brings back all notes with that word. So it may bring back multiple notes, but it sparks a recall when you spot the right one.
What if results look mixed?
If you have five friends called Sarah and you search
?Sarah or two projects called ?ProjectSustainability, they will all appear.
You look at what comes back and judge for yourself.
It works to spark a recall, that's all.
How and When Can I Make #Lists?

After you've been using SparkRecall for a while—saving and recalling—you'll start to spot patterns and themes in your notes. What matters to you.
You can list under that #NAME- eg

Endlessly useful if you're a list person.
Privacy & Data
What's stored?
Your notes are stored in SparkRecall, the database.
And basic account details—name, email, username—in Shopify.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes. SparkRecall Limited is incorporated in Ireland and complies fully with GDPR, the Irish Data Protection Act, and UK GDPR for UK users.
What shouldn't I save?
Don't store sensitive personal data—banking details, credit card numbers, passwords. SparkRecall isn't designed for this kind of information.
Managing Your Data
Can I delete notes?
Yes. You can erase in the chat itself - just use the /delete functionality.

Can I delete my account entirely?
Yes, you can unsubscribe in Shopify at any time and you can delete the chat from your WhatsApp account.
Can I download my data?
Yes. You can download your full chat directly from your WhatsApp chat. To download a copy open the chat, access the contact information and select Export Chat. You can then save the text file to yourself.

How much?
€1.50 a month, charged as €21/year to keep costs low.
With 20% of your money going directly to supporting youth charities and community building.

Can't find a saved note?
Try another word or detail linked to it. That's half the magic. When you can't remember a persons name, put in what you can remember. Where you met them, their work etc etc. The search works via association.
